For my candidate Wikipedia page, I’m choosing the novel Fugitive Pieces by Anne Michaels. I read the book a few months ago for one of my other literature classes, and I immediately fell in love with the heartwrenching story and the elegant w
riting. For such a popular book, I was surprised to see how little was mentioned on its page. So far whats included on the page is a summary of the plot, slight discussion about the writing style, and the mention of the 2007 film. After looking at examples of other books Wikipedia pages, I gained a better idea of what I want to add. For example, I think it would be beneficial to add a character list and have a whole section dedicated to Michael’s writing style. I also think that the book should have a brief section on the influence of the story. While reading the current Wikipedia page, I realized that the overview and plot summary sections have repeating information, so I would like to properly organize and divide these sections.
